Most of these restaurants are family-owned and have the friendliest atmosphere. The quality of the food is just as impeccable. The owners tend to walk around the restaurants and introduce themselves and always make you feel at home. Café Metro (Denville)- Casual and quaint, always busy, outdoor seating, Cafe Metro has a ton of great healthy options, Tofu stir fry is my absolute favorite. It is within walking distance to the center of town so once you are done, grab some ice cream at Denville Dairy!

The Tuscan Table (Denville) The Tuscan Table Most recently had a birthday party here. Must get the seafood salad, and eggplant appetizer. I just recently tried the grilled salmon with mango cilantro and loved it!

Miga Sushi (Denville)
All you can eat, takeout & or even delivery! My favorite sushi in Denville, always fresh fish and great rolls and sashimi. I've sat here with friends on many occasions and I do see a lot of date nights. It is such a cozy and comfortable spot. It's not a buffet like most all-you-can-eat places. They give you a menu and you order as much as you want.

Veggie Heaven (Denville) Veggie Heaven Oriental style vegan restaurant with dessert and bubble tea options, boasting a super comfortable atmosphere. Everything on the menu is 100% vegetarian, from the veggie "beef" & potato to the General Tso's veggie "chicken" & white rice. No matter what you try it is sure to delight!

Bruno's Italian Bistro (Morris Plains) Bruno’s Italian Bistro: Homemade Italian classics. A casual but rustic setting with outdoor seating when the weather allows. My favorite dish is the homemade meatball appetizer and chicken scarpariello with sweet Italian sausage and cherry peppers. The chef's wife bought this place for her husband.
That's Amore Trattoria (Denville) That's Amore Trattoria Outdoor dining, The space is dressed up to look like little Italy! I thought this was only a special occasion place, but honestly, this is a great everyday place. The burrata appetizer is amazing, they make fun twists to the very popular rice balls, and branzino fish is amazing. This place is where I would gather family or close friends. They even have pizza!

Denville seafood (Denville) Denville Seafood & Codmothers Cafe Fresh seafood, nice casual dining atmosphere, generous plating, amazing selections. It's cozy and well worth a visit!

Thai Nam Phet (Rockaway) If you are looking for authentic Thai cuisine, look no more! Thai Nam Phet is such a fun restaurant to go to with tons of veggie tofu options and amazing chicken, beef or fish dishes, even if you don't BYO you can order the Thai ice tea or coconut juice. They serve many food options on a 1-5 spicy scale. I had #3 spicy and that was perfect for me, I asked for a side of #5 and I definitely could not have handled that! I highly recommend the Pad Kra Prow (Spicy Basil) with chicken. Hope you try it!

Osteria Trevi (Madison) Osteria Trevi: Friendly atmosphere. The owner is from Italy and he is always walking around and sharing fun interesting details. When in the season they have amazing stuffed zucchini flowers, and the owner even stopped by our table to let us know his mom picked them from the garden this morning. Who doesn't love to hear their food is fresh! Also love the salmon alla piastra honey glazed, sautéed squash, and carrot ribbons. Delish!
